Initial consultation and blood test – $650 ($250 + $400)
$250 for the initial consultation. $400 for the lab test. We will waive the $350 lab fee if you can obtain sufficient testing from your primary care physician or ob/ gyn. However, please contact us before-hand if you plan on getting your blood test elsewhere so that we may specify which tests to request of your physician (we don’t require everything we test). Although we recommend getting our comprehensive blood test, we fully understand that you may prefer testing elsewhere if covered by your insurance.
Our testing is extremely comprehensive and our phlebotomist will even come to your home or office at your desired time; no extra charge. Our comprehensive screening includes : CRP (measures inflammatory status and cardiovascular risk), CBC (complete blood count), CMP (comprehensive metabolic profile), AM Cortisol (adrenal function/ adrenal fatigue), Estradiol and Estriol (most protective of the estrogens), FSH (folicular stimulating hormone), Lipid Panel (cholesterol, triglicerydes), Progesterone, TSH (thyroid function), Free and Total Testosterone, IGF-1 (growth hormone status), SHBG (without sex hormone binding globulin, many hormone results can be misleading), and vitamins B12 and D.
Our comprehensive screening panel is not simply to test your hormonal status. Pacific Longevity strives to help you achieve optimal health; this test will help us achieve that goal with you. Additionally, many menopause/ perimenopause symptoms can actually be caused by other issues. This test will help us determine what’s actually causing your symptoms.
Our initial consultation and follow-up visits also include diet and exercise counseling. Pacific Longevity always takes a holistic approach to our patient’s health and happiness.

Menopause is the natural hormonal change that occurs in women and signals the end of their childbearing years. It is not a disease nor an illness, but a normal transition from one stage in a woman’s life to another. While it is a natural occurrence, it is not without its share of discomfort and it is often accompanied by a myriad of changes within the body that can be unpleasant for the woman during and following menopause.
During menopause, hormones previously needed for regulating menses fluctuate wildly. There is no predictable course through menopause, and while some women may find the transition easy, others suffer through it for several years.
Typical Symptoms of Menopause:
- Bleeding irregularities
- Vaginal dryness
- Hot flashes/sweats
- Changes in sex drive
- Nervousness, irritability
- Mood changes
- Skin aging/cosmetic changes
- Altered fat and carbohydrate metabolism
